Tips

START LOW & SIMPLE

Start with the basics, small jumps and landings. This these can easily be practiced in a park and are as dangerous as using a playground or playing football.

GET SOME REAL TRAINING

Most of the members of UA have done training in gymnastics or some type of martial arts. This isn't compulsory, but it does help you to get better at what this kind of stuff - especially gymnastics.

TRICK IN SAFETY

All of the moves that you see us do are developed in small stages and in a safe environment. The big jumps, tricks and flips are first practiced in a gym before we move to the street.

KNOW YOUR LIMITS

You should never do anything that is beyond your abilitioes. It is always good to aim to improve, but be realistic about your own capabilities. If in doubt, don't. Most injuries are sustained by people bailing half-way through a move they were never completely confident doing.

KNOW WHEN TO STOP

As soon as you feel tired, sore or hurt then stop - do not keep going. If your muscles hurt you may damage it further by jumping and even hurt yourself badly in the process. Do not go too far and know when to stop: this can be a very hard and dangerous art, so play safe!
