aka BlackTonic
Style: Parkour
Hey there, I'm BlackTonic and have been doin Parkour since 2003 when I got introduced into it by a few mates in the year above me at school. Those three (Ben, Edd, and Tim) started a group called 'Motion in Action' and helped me to start the gathering known as 'Seafront Freestyle'.
I dedicated myself to learn the aspect of Parkour and to keep the art form running through my veins forever. I like doing Parkour because it thrives my ideals of an art form, the way you move, the ideas and suggestion for reason, there is no equipment required, and the fact that it is free to learn and easy to handle with no set structure.
I've studied many forms of martial arts, from Capoeira to Kendo to Broadsword, my favourite so far being Jeet Kune Do. Though many of these arts I have only trained for short term as, due to a memory problem, I struggle to learn the languages and set combinations or techniques, of which is why I loved 'Jie Quan Dao', as it taught me to ride my own skills and techniques.
"Traceurs claim that parkour also influences one's thought process by enhancing critical thinking skills that allow one to overcome everyday physical and mental obstacles." -I believe in this fact!
